Specify turning lanes?

Currently when roads intersect a crossroad, all lanes will turn all ways. Is it possible to enforce rules like only the left lane can turn left, right can turn right, etc.? See attached for existing vs. what i'm trying to do.

Modifiers - bug!

Put the following modifiers on top of a splineland object:
1) Turn to gPoly
2) Vol select
3) Delete Mesh

It's fine, and works, now go back to the base object and regenerate the surface - crash!

Definitely use the road as a separate model, and use the new cutout feature to remove the terrain below it. What the matID changes are good for is having a rough transition around the road so that you can have drier grass, pebbles or gravel.

A way to approach this in code would be to scale the Z interpolation by the non-interpolated curvature, such that steeper areas have less Z interpolation.

Interpolation errors - spikes!

I've found that splineland isn't working very well with ramps or sharp changes in elevation (such as cliffs and retaining walls). Please see attached image and scene:
