We are trying to use vray scatter in production, but we are using vray 3. Since its in the nightlies for vray 3, you should support it like you do with 2.4 branch.

If I try using Pattern, in a lot of my tests maya simply crashes. I've never had success with pattern types 1-3.

That's too bad. I have a creature that has such topological flow and I was hoping to cover it with geometry that contoured to this flow. If you ever have this feature please let me know!

Transfer of license or trial license request
I have a license already but I have since switched workstations. Is it possible to transfer the existing vray scatter license to my new workstation? If it isn't could I request a trial license?

Hey do you think its possible to add distribution by texture, like you have in multiscatter in max? I really could use that right now, instead of creating 4-5 different containers with maps to offset the proxy distribution...

I figured it out. So at one point I had a camera attached to the vray scatter to clip them based on FOV, however I later disabled it (checked off use) under camera tab. However even after its disabled its still being evaluated for each frame in maya timeline when I scrub on input specific frame, tha...
