Working with edges/curves and detail models
Hey How can I populate the model with bigger instances to nicely fill in the area near curve edge? I'm having a problem that the sample is taken from centre of proxy and not bounding box edge to curve. So I can't get my proxies to not overlap my path. I tried using smaller proxies but at 50-100 mil ...

Scattering 10 000 000 models
Hey 2 questions really. 1. Do I need to export model to proxy before adding it to scatter? 2. When I want to scatter 10 000 000 + models it takes A LOT of time to start render. Is there anything we can do to help out the process ? I will have at the end around 10-50 scatter systems with 10-100mil pr...

Position of source objects cause issues when scatter
Hey I have some problems with scattering. Not sure if user error or bug. But: I have 5 trees I have them located at x y z > -500 -500 -500 and so on so they next to each other. If I use them as source for scatter they do not touch ground. They feel offsetted and in incorrect placement. So far I had ...

LOD based system for proxies
Heya I have 30x30km patch of landscape. I have around 100 proxies ranging 1-5mil poly each. Now populating that terrain that is only visible by camera needs around 1 000 000 000 proxies more or less. As the resolution is 15k+. Populating it all with so many proxies will kill the system or it will ta...
