Behavior of your car looks realistically. You trying to make too sharp turn with too fast speed. Try to decrease "grip" option in wheel settings. Also try to use handbrake. Don't stop push accelerator during drifting. It is big chance to roll if you stop brake or accelerate during drift. A...

I don't know how suspension of F1 car working exactly. It is possible that some parts are impossible to rig by MadCar, but you always can use standard functions of 3ds max to rig this parts.

VrayPattern based on Vray SDK possibility to create geometry based textures. This technology is close to vector displacement. We are using some ready algorithms provided by Vray SDK. I think it is better to ask on ChaosGroup forum, if you want to know about base algorithms.

It is bug in standard Normal Map in 3ds max. Use Vray Normal Map.

You can make spline along edges (it can be done automatically in editpoly) of this platform and surface will be conformed.duke wrote:I'd much prefer to have the mesh conform exactly to Platform edges so that I can do a vol. select on that matID and delete it (and use my road mesh).
