Tyre marks

Post by admin »

1. In order to get a tyre marks on the road surface, it is necessary to use MadCarTrackTexture  in the road material. It can be in any of texture slots: diffuse, bump, specular etc and in any combination. In the MadCarTrackTexture settings you need to specify the MadCar object, tracks from which you want to have pic 1.

2. In settings of each wheel, you can specify a texture pattern, which should be black and white image.pic 2.
If the texture pattern for wheels is not specified, tracks will be solid, as if the wheels were smooth.

Thanks for posting this. Is there any way to link particle emission with the tracks so that I can simulate tyre burnouts ?

You can link any particle emitters to Madcar suspension.
