MultiScatter 1.2.0
Posted: Mon Dec 17, 2012 10:31 am
New features:
1. Ability to create MultiScatter object with one click.
2. Show / Hide Help Image setting is now global.
3. Ability to create MultiPainter object with one click.
4. When assigning texture masks in MultiScatter the mask turns on automatically (if it was off).
5. When creating MSCollision it’s now possible to modify radius of the object.
6. Ability to multiply objects along the spline and a surface simultaneously.
7. Algorithms of connectors to V-Ray have changed. Support to the latest version of V-Ray is added. If new build of V-Ray is detected, MultiScatter will try to use the latest version of the connector, instead of producing an error message.
8. Redesigned Camera Clipping Algorithm
- Added “Near Range” parameter, “Distance” is renamed to “Far Range”.
- Added support for Camera Environment Ranges for setting Quest Near and Far Ranges.
- Added ability to drop objects that do not fall within the field of camera view.
- Ability to work with the perspective and orthogonal cameras.
- Added a parameter controlling the expansion of the boundaries of the field of view of the camera to avoid discarding objects which are partially beyond the frame.
- Added support for the basic parameters of VRayPhysicalCamera.
Bug fixes:
1. Fixed an error in the calculation of the transformation matrix detector, during analysis of the surface normal direction in MultiScatter.
2. Fixed a bug that caused a break of the rollout interface when aborting the process of creating Multiscatter object.
3. Fixed a bug that caused the removal of unnecessary items in the list of master objects in MultiScatter.
