Hi,

I've posted a couple of notes in the forum, but I think VFX artists (as opposed to Arch/Viz) would find a lot of value in Multiscatter if there were more support for animation.

I've asked about particle support, and it looks like that is not on the cards, but I can think of a few functions which would make MS more useful.

For example,

If you want crowds to move on an uneven surface, the translation of the individual proxies will only move in a straight line. If we could have a conform to surface, that would be of enormous use.

Collision generation on animated proxies won't work because the bounding box changes, and this results in the position changing even if the position of the proxies are static.

Use of colour masks to alter animation, e.g. speed or even trigger an animation (same proxy, different animation)

Thanks,

Steve
