....is the problem with memory issues using light cache something you will adress? Or is it a vray-problem rather than a multiscatter problem? Is there any way to solve it apart from "dont use light cache"?
Right now I'm using vrayscatter in max 2009 since it runs perfectly

LC is very fast algorithm, but nothing is for free in our world. LC is need much more RAM then other Vray GI algorithms. MultiScatter is tool for creating of big amount of geometry and its also need RAM.
It is a big chance to get the problems (very slow rendering or falling down) then you use LC with MultiScatter.
