vray Scatter does not work with object id

Hi,
If I try to assign vray attribute - object id, to be used with multimatte, it does not get passed to vray scatter, I tried both shape and transform they do not seem to work. Can this be implemented?

Yes, it could. You could also try using material id as a workaround.

thanks for the reply. We are using material id already. So imagine a scenario where you have 3 different type of proxy scattered. Each proxy has 10 materials, for each material there is a multimatte number to control its color in comp. It would be great to have each of the 3 different proxies to be also split into 3 colors to isolate them per proxy. We can do that now with material color id, but its not as simple, since we need to manage the color on shader level, so if there are many shaders it gets complicated.

Also it would be great to support vray object properties node as well. So for selection of proxy objects which has the node assigned to pass those attributes to vray scatter.
