Thanks for the update!
Unfortunately there seems to be a very serious bug.
All you have to do is "remove" one object from the list and the VRayScatter Node should corrupt resulting in:
// Error: There was a fatal error rendering the scene.
Steps to repdoduce error:
1) Render attached scene.
2) Remove an item from the VRayScatter node and try and render again.
3) Should result in fatal error

Sorry, but it seems there is one last fatal crash with this build (and subsequent 4.120) - that is that scattering on any "curve" crashes Maya.
On a blank scene:
1) Create a curve
2) Create a cube
3) Attach VRayScatter node to curve.
As soon as you add the cube, Maya will crash before it can scatter.
