Hi,
Sorry to be annoying, but I ran into another issue while doing some tests:
I'm trying to make a fence around this green plane with a standard mesh.
However VRayPattern doesn't seem to calculate the bounding box of the object properly.
As you can see in outliner, it is not parented to anything or have any children.
Transforms are not frozen either and as you can see from Maya's Universal Manipulator Tool, Maya is correctly detecting the bounding box of the object.
I tried moving the object to 0,0,0 and freezing everything but the bounding box still doesn't seem to correctly conform. I have attached a sample scene if it helps.

Re: Bounding box calculation discrepancy
Thanks for another report! Where have you been on a public beta test?
Re: Bounding box calculation discrepancy
No problem, haha yes I tried to participate but a combination of lack of time and that I was originally using Maya 2013.5 did not permit it unfortunately.
However I understand the complexity of these plugins and time required to write them and am happy to help out if I stumble upon any bugs. VrayPattern and VRayScatter are very elegant solutions, I appreciate the release of these two products for Maya! Will make my job easier
