I just tried to use last version of multiscatter, and got lot of crashed. I don't know if it is max or octane.

Hi,
I have problem with Wheel drive, when changing direction the Wheel react as they have a "ball and socket" constraint... like a bike.
Bike driving is unchecked. :-)
MC use only one thread ?

Octane support

Hi,
I tried to use time shifting, but I saw in MS manual that it just works with simple objects and Vrayproxies.
Is is possible to make it work with octane proxies (as it had been made by Karba) or it already works and I miss something ?

Hello, when using vertex color map for mask distribution / probability, it used to be "real time".
Now after painting the color map you must re-select multiscatter icon to update multiscatter object.

I use Octane render and I wonder if Object color texture (to texture all the instances) can be compatable with octane.

I would be nice to have an option so that vraypattern object will inherit its polygonID from the surface.
so we can make variation of color with the polyID of the surface with Vraymulti sub TEx for eg.

I just bought Vraypattern and I am amazed by ease and power of this tool...
You should pay more attention to your tools demos, so people could see how powerfull they are... (just my 2 cents)

Hello I work a lot on stadium rendering, and it would be very VERY VEERRRYY usefull to be able to positionnate ONE instance on each quad center face of the Object : I could place a character on each seat really easily... Second thing : it seems that rotation on Y (blue color) works on 720° not 360.....

Hello
I join two renders, one with vrayscatter (1686 secondes) and one with vray proxies placed by hand (225 secondes).
It seems to be a bit slow.... can somebody help ???
