Height of crop box should be a little bit bigger than actual geometry. Otherwise it will work like coplanar polygons.

Probably, the MadCar dummy was merged as instance. Try to make it uniqe.

You can try to use regular sphere primitive, not geosphere.

Have you updated multiscatter on slave computer?
Does it render properly if not to cancel render?
