Autograss and Multiscatter not work.

Hi

I've a question for how VRayScatter works with Autograss. You can download the demo here.

I know you are not involve in Autograss, but both not work very well with VRay.
In my scene, if render only a plane with autograss, all work fine. All CPU are 100%.
But, when I add just one VRayScatter object, for example, 100 trees, all CPU (WS and rendernode) go to 50-60-70%.
Same inverse. Only VRayScatter = 100% - VRayScatter + Autograss = 50-60-70%.
Autograss memory is 1024 and VRay Memory set to auto and 4 GB
PC memory available= 8 GB.
I try Autograss + Forest Lite demo. Same problem.

Any Idea?

If you want, this is a sample scene (Autograss+VRayScatter)

DOWNLOAD

Run and see: the CPU works at 50% :(

Only Autograss = 100%
Only Autoscatter = 100%

Both= 50%

It can be slowly because of memory limit. Then you use it together, memory manager switching to dynamic. Computer spend time to upload-download geometry to memory and CPU waiting for it.

Hi admin,

mmm... sorry, but

A: I use only Autograss: all work fine 100% CPU
B: I use Autograss with VRayScatter with ONLY one VRayScatter obj count : CPU work from 60 to 85%

So, why only with one Pbj scattered in the plane, my CPU work from 60% to 80%


C: I use ONLY one VRayScatter obj count : CPU work 100%

It's strange, no? Or for you it's all ok? For me, no :D
