I'm a VrayScatter user and very interested in MultiScatter and have questions about this pre-release version.

Is this a demo version that anyone can use or is this only for beta testers? Must a license be purchased before installing? If so how do I go about purchasing? I don't see MultiScatter in your online store.

If I do not need to purchase a license for this pre-release version yet, can I run the registration application to use this version?

Will this pre-release version time-out when the final version is released?

Betatesting is finished.
This version is almost final.
We have found bug with installation for 2011 max because Autodesk have changed paths to MetnalRay files in this version.
We will fix it in 1-2 days.
All betatesters can use this version with beta licenses.
Official release will be soon. But if you VrayScatter user and don't want to wait for release - you can purchase update HERE

Vray SP5 is not officially released.
MultiScatter is not support it, but will be updated soon after SP5 release.

Does MultiScatter replace VRayScatter? is v2.5.8 the last version of VRayScatter and we have to update to keep getting new features?

By the way.. what is the licensing policy today for VRayScatter / MultiScatter?
