Hi Icube !

I've a question about multiscatter and his hability to sc atter on spline, it's really usefull, to distribute some ivy for exemple, but there is some point that i couldn't solve alone...

first : How could we control the mesh orientation from spline in the case of multiple wall which are not align? Is there a possibility to push (rotate?) the leaf out the wall mesh or align them in reaction from the wall?
Second : Is there a possibility to tell our scater to do the job only in a part of our spline, like flower in the end and leaf only from the start ?

I know there is some cool plugins like growfx to do that, but it's really a pain to have a 600mo mesh file... I do the job in a second (for ivy) with the plug from guruware and scatter a lot (really a lor ^^) of leaf and flowers with multiscatter..; Because it's really light and easy to use.

hello
we dont completely understand the issue
but looks like its not possible to achive without some kind of workaround
like you can split the spline into several segments to scatter upon
regarding rotation you can try Z Recovery option

mmm ok this is not completely clear, but i simply want to know if it's possible to scatter object on spline with an orientation in reaction of another object, like ivy's leaf to grow "out" the wall for example.

And after, your solution to "cut" the spline is maybe a solution but my request is only (also) to know if we can grow some object on a spline from the start to the end with accurity... Distribution like path constraint and keyframe on a spline, fro the start... to the end... In that case we could scatter with precision on multiple splines the same multiscatters objects (tak e mythat example, leaf, fruits and flower, i have creat a web of spline and 3 multiscatter from that 3 object before, i'm using the spline to scatter on it, but i want for each multiscatter object to scater like that : first part leafs, second part fruits anf in the end some flowers... Like that i just have to attach the spline in one object, i have only THREE multiscatter object to scatter everything and it's done!

More clear like that?
