Hi there,
Here's a scene I have attached (maya 2014, although it is an ascii file so can be read in 2013). That shows a simple cube scattered on a plane.
It all seems to work but the render is offset from where it is in the viewport.
It is due to the transformGeometry1 node on the cube. Natively V-Ray can read this node, but somewhere in the pipeline it isn't being read anymore with VRayScatter.
Using maya 2014x64
[2013/Jun/21|13:45:48] V-Ray: V-Ray for Maya version 2.25.01, revision 23093 from Jun 8 2013, 05:55:31
[2013/Jun/21|13:45:48] V-Ray: V-Ray core version is 2.00.02
VrayScatter 3.5.1

Re: Render not matching viewport
Hi, sorry for the bump, but is it possible to confirm that the transformGeometry1 is the cause of this "shift" and down the track is it a possibility that this is able to be patched? Many thanks.
Re: Render not matching viewport
Yep, its because of incorrect handling of transformGeometry, I'll try to find the workaround as soon as possible.
Re: Render not matching viewport
I've created a special option for such cases: https://forum.icube3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1232

Thank you very much! Works great.
