We had the same issue with proxies not rendering with the new 1.1.09 version ... even existing scenes that rendered fine before with previous version.
I think we found the bug which is to do with the characthers of the proxy path - it no longer seems to allow special characters, in our case the danish æ, ø and å. If we move the proxy into a path that without these characthers then the proxy renders fine.
This must be a bug that has sneaked in with 1.1.09 as it used to work fine with previous versions.

Also want Multiscatter to work with 2013! I already upgraded my licence, so I really need it soon!!!
