Using a similar system to "City Traffic", how about a version that uses 3D Lo-Poly people with Walk Cycles called "City People"??

Does anything like this exist? If not it would be a winner for the visualization and film industries..

Software similar to this exsits,

Quadstone paramis and Vissim from PTV have pedestrian modules

But in both, the movement is crappy. They more oriented to obtain statistical data thatn recreating real movements. The fine would be to import that motion data and substitute the models by rigged ones with mocap data. As other products do with the motion data of the cars and substitute them with good loking models in 3dmax.
